Living Dangerously

By Katie Fforde
Very basic chick-lit book, but entertaining nevertheless ;o)
I sometimes wonder (also based on what my family and friends tell me) if I am “wasting time” reading these kinds of books, as – even I must admit – they are not that challenging a read. But I guess I just like to be entertained – perhaps I should just remember to also read some more informative or “questioning” books now and then… Not now, though ;o) Have just started Stately Pursuits by Katie Fforde :oD
Review from play.com:
Polly Cameron is happy being thirty-five and celibate, living in a small Gloucestershire town with a possessive cat for company and a Rayburn for comfort. After all, a relationship would only complicate things…But Polly’s life is already complicated. In addition to her job in the Whole Nut cafe and her part in the ‘Save Our High Street’ campaign, there’s her pottery career to get off the ground. Not to mention dodging the efforts of her friends and mother to find her a husband…
