However, after struggling (not really struggling, just not being able to read a lot as we have had guests and I have been busy with other things) with The Rice Mother, I needed a fast read to start getting back on track (am supposed to have read 50 books by now, so am way behind!).
It Had to Be You was a nice and easy chick-lit read – although I did find the setup a little too generic (three peoples’ lives – have read a bit too many books like that to find it thaaaat interesting ;o)).
BUT.. OK Saturday read, especially since our power was cut off for most of the day so that I couldn’t surf and watch tv ;o)
