Mr. Maybe

By Jane Green
So so story about Libby, who is somewhat obsessed with money and status and less obsessed with what she has to endure to marry money and status. Guess it would have been more relevant for me to read this one while I was in my teens and dreaming of marrying a rich guy with at least one fantastic car G
OK read but I must conclude that I do not find Green’s books nearly as good as some of the other chick-lit writers’ (e.g. Marian Keyes, Jill Mansell, Katie Fforde and Chris Manby)...
Review from amazon.co.uk:
At 27, Libby thinks there’s a lot to be said for a rich husband. So when Nick comes along – lovely, funny, and with no money what-so-ever – she decides he’s only good for a fling. Wealthy banker Ed, on the other hand, could possibly be the answer. But does Libby really know what she needs?
